USSR (Moscow IUPAC 1964)

Soviet art had a certain something about it, a self confidence it its cause (perhaps unwarranted, as history suggests). This stamp embraces chemistry and the technology of the industry, complete with  Moscow in Periodic Table format lettering.  The stamps message, that the USSR will drown you in its chemical production, is very clear.  A favorite with the comrades at the CAYF HQ, and perfect for snuggling up and watching the spy drama "The Americans". Don't know about the election, but the Russians used to be up to all sorts of stuff, yet we survived.
